Yamaha is mostly known in making premium motorcycles in the Yamaha Brand. This bike is very much attractive and dashing. This bike easily attracts the attention of bike lovers. The bike has some distinct feature that makes the bike different from others. The Yamaha brand has recently launched this bike as a new surprise. The bike has been configured with the dashing parts which are imported from China.

Engine and Performance

The bike gets the same 150cc engine as the other bikes of Yamaha but there is a distinct thing; the bike gets a carburetor type fuel injection system. The engine produces 11.9 BHP @ 7500 RPM & 12.8 NM of Torque @ 6000 RPM. You have the option of both self & kick starter. The bike will give you the best riding performance. This bike is light in weight enough to get a top speed within a very short time.

Fuel Tank

The Yamaha SZ-RR V2 is light, the dry weight of the bike is around 125 kg but the bike possesses a robust fuel tank which can carry 14 liters of fuel in its fuel tank. The bike will supply enough fuel while you will go for a short or long trip with this bike. There is a stylish notch present on the fuel tank. The available colours of this bike are Beast Black, Predator Cyan.

Tyres and Brakes

The Front tyre size of this bike is-2.75-17 and the rear one is -100/90-17. The tyre of this bike is tubeless that means tubeless tyres have been used through this bike which makes the bike unique from others. The front-wheel size of this bike is 17 inches, and the rear-wheel size is -17 inch. The front and rear brakes type of this bike is disc and drum-type respectively. 

Chassis and Suspension

The bike gets the Diamond type chassis and the suspension type of this bike is very much comfortable to ride on it. The front suspension type is telescopic while the rear one is swingarm type. The body type of this bike is a commuter type. The most important thing is; the bike has a body graphics beauty. Mileage Performance

Yamaha is using Blue Core technology in this engine, which makes the riding smoother and also at the same time it helps for better fuel efficiency for the bike. During our testing, we found a very profound mileage of 42 km/l in the city (under test condition) while on the highway that went up to 45 km/l (under test condition). This is not a speed machine but we managed to clock 105 kmph on the speedometer.

Price of This Bike

With a price tag of 185,000 BDT for the base edition while the special edition with Matt Green colour the bike carries a price tag of 190,000 BDT. This is a stylish motorcycle in the lower price segment from Yamaha. To me, the bike is targeted to the people who want a stylish looking bike at affordable prices at the same time good feedback of mileage.

Conclusion

Switch quality is good; they carried the momentum from Yamaha FZS Fi V2. In our testing of 2000 km we found no issues with the color & rusting on the bike. The handlebar isn’t spread away and the turning radius of the bike is good. It is a slim bike which is good for riding in congested traffic and because of the good turning radius you can turn the bike in a good angle.
