Yamaha MT 15 Feature Review

The Yamaha MT-15 is the latest 155 cc bike from Yamaha India. According to its specifications, the MT-15 promises a stylish, muscular naked, and very dashing things. Though it has the same engine, chassis, and many common features with the R15, it looks quite different. The bike has aluminum swingarm along with the best chassis and suspension. This MT 15 bike will meet up all the requirements of all bike lovers. The Yamaha MT 15 bike has its quality to attack the mind of most of the bike lovers. 

Design and Features

First, let’s talk about the looks; and they are subjective after all. What’s beautiful to some, may not be for others. That’s more or less what the case with the MT-15. It may not be good-looking in the conventional sense, but presence it certainly has. The attractive and aggressive front end is configured by the twin slot daytime running lights, and the other lights give the MT-15 an almost robotic, Transformers-like face. But something which will grab your, and anyone else’s attention. The robust fuel tank, extended radiator shrouds, and a plastic belly pan complete the muscular look. The rear end is proportionate to the body shape and sleek, with a nice LED taillight finishing up the tail section neatly.

Engine Specification

The Yamaha MT 15 gets 155 cc engine which is powerful and very strong. Single Cylinder, 4-Stroke, 4-Valve type engine is used to this motorcycle. And the motorcycle claims its maximum power at 19 bhp @ 10,000 rpm. The maximum power of this bike is enough to chase a bike in the competition. It takes only a few minutes to raise its top speed. And the maximum torque of this bike is 14.7 Nm at 8500 rpm. The engine type of this bike is liquid-cooled and the 4 valves are used per cylinder.

The bike comes with a robust fuel tank with a classic design. This robust fuel tank can hold about 14-liter fuel. And you can easily ride this bike in the long distance. The design of the fuel tank of this bike is also quite good. The graphical design marked on the fuel tank adds some extra beauty to this bike. The fuel tank of this bike is configured with attractive body shape and design. The robust fuel tank gives this bike the aggressive looks and dashing style.

Performance and Handling

Swing a leg over it, and it’s immediately a happy place to be in. The flat handlebar, upright riding position with the somewhat sporty stance is instantly likable. City-slickers and college-going millennials will welcome the comfortable, yet sporty ergonomics. The engine purrs into life with a familiar thrum; after all, it’s the same R15 mill, as well as the exhaust. The 155 cc, single-cylinder, the liquid-cooled engine puts out 19 bhp of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of peak torque kicking in at 8,500 rpm. And it gets the same 6-speed gearbox as the R15 and standard slipper clutch. 

Other Important Features

The mileage average of this bike 48.5 kmpl but while will you ride on the highway then you will get a 54.4 kmpl mileage that is very well. Both headlight and the taillight of this bike is LED type and the overall dimension of this bike is also very well. The bike has its own ABS single channel. The braking system of this bike is also very well and the bike comes with hardy aluminum made a wheel with the tubeless tube. The riding experience of this bike is also very premium.
